Ethiopia is an emerging country with an active diaspora; now its narrative, stuck in decades past, needs updating.

Michael Ardaiolo and Dr. Guy Golan discuss the need to update the Ethiopian narrative and the power of the Ethiopian diaspora with Samuel Gebru.

Sam Gebru is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ethiopian Global Initiative, a non-profit he founded in 2006, when he was 14 years old, that harnesses the collective social and intellectual capital of students and professionals to undertake sustainable projects in Ethiopia. Samuel also serves on the Board of Directors of Africans in Boston and is committed to advancing the political and social priorities of the African diaspora in Massachusetts.
